This is the vast number of satellite tv ever launched in only one objective.

The space company’s trusted utility vehicle Polar Satellite Release Vehicle PSLV-C37, on its 39th mission, early morning hours, at 9.28 am, nowadays, from Sriharikota Space Center with the 104 satellite tv, of which 101 belongs to international customers.

The first to be let off was India’s high quality Cartosat-2 series satellite tv made especially to monitor activities of India’s hostile neighbours at a quality of less than a metre keeping a bird’s eye view on both Pakistan and China.

As the researchers at the Mission Management center broke into cheers, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chair A S Kiran Kumar announced: “All 104 satellite tv efficiently placed in orbit. My hearty congratulations to the whole ISRO team for the wonderful job they have done.”

“This is an important step for India. This whole launch will last for 28 minutes…It is a four stage objective. The first satellite tv will go in the 17 th minute followed soon by two new ipod nano satellite tv by India. Later 96 satellite tv will be placed in their orbits,” said Ajay Lele of ISRO.

The Indian nano-satellites are ISRO’s INS-1A and INS-1B. INS-1A and INS-1B which carry a total of four different payloads from Space Applications Centre (SAC) and Laboratory for Electro Optics Systems (LEOS) of ISRO for conducting various tests.

The launch was monitored by ISRO chairman AS Kiran Kumar and other top researchers from the objective control center at Sriharikota.

The PSLV-XL variant bomb, standing 44.4 metre tall and weighing 320 ton, tore into the morning hours air at 9.28 a.m. with a deep throated roar breaking free of the gravitational pull.

What is important about the launch is the variety of satellite tv carried by a bomb. Compared to successful launch by the Russian Space Agency releasing 37 satellite tv in one go, India became the first country to script record by releasing 104 satellite tv in only one rocket.
