Ranveer Singh was as of late injured on the location of Padmavati. He was injured on the head while shooting the climax sequence of the film. A source near the actor revealed to IANS that he went for restorative medical aid and come back to shoot not before long.
Ranveer got himself hurt on the head while shooting for the film amid a specific take, however, he was so immersed in the role that he didn’t understand it till cut was called. It was simply after he began bleeding badly from the head after “cut” was called, did everybody understand that he was injured gravely.
This, in any case, was not the first instance when Ranveer Singh got harmed on the sets. In 2015, when he was shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, he had hurt himself on the sets of the film while doing an action scene. He had tumbled off a steed while shooting for a sequence in Jaipur. Luckily, he had not endured any fracture. He tweeted the following day writing “As for the injury, I’m fine. Mard ko Dard nahi hota….aur badi badi filmon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain ;).”
Bajirao Mastani had turned out to be a huge hit.
As in the current case, Ranveer got initial medical aid on the sets and was hurried promptly to a close-by hospital for quick treatment. He finished off the essential treatment and come back to the film’s set to finish his bits of the shoot. As opposed to allowing his injury bog him down or affect the shoot, Ranveer finished the day’s work. He had stitches on the head, added the source.
In this film, Ranveer Singh will be essaying the role of Alauddin Khilji in the period drama, which likewise has Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in it. It is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film will hit the theaters on 17th November this year.
